Provincial Cup 2016

SANPA is excited to announce that in conjunction with the SARPL (South African Regional Paintball League) and the African Paintball Federation – AFPBF we will host our first Provincial Cup event from 2016.

There will be 4 categories in line with the Paintball World Cup
U19, Mens, Womens and Veterans (40+).

The focus is placed here on the player that would like to achieve more and become the best in the sport they love.

  1. Players will go through a similar selection process as for the SA representative team, but on a provincial level
  2. There will be try-outs in each province for players to be selected by a provincial selection committee.
  3. Selected players will then compete as a team representing their province in the Provincial Cup to see which province comes out at top.
  4. These events will take place during official SARPL 5-man Events in Gauteng or the Western Cape at this stage.
  5. Players from the provincial teams will automatically be invited to be part of the try-outs for the SA representative team.
  6. Provinces that currently don’t have any speedball tournaments in their area can still put a provincial team together if they have enough players to represent their province.
  7. A player must be a SANPA or SARPL member to go for the try-outs.

More information regarding try-outs, game format, number of players and the selection process to follow.

If you would like to show us what you got and would like to go for the try-outs in your province, please contact the relevant co-ordinator below.
