Vision
To grow and promote the sport of paintball and airsoft, its teams and players locally on a world-class level, professional standard, and to help the paintball/airsoft communities to grow to its full potential.
Mission
- Promoting the sport of SA paintball/airsoft on a national and international level giving exposure primarily to its associated members
- Assisting the players, clubs, fields, and leagues on a national level
- Promoting Paintball/Airsoft as a safe sport
- Assisting new players to get involved and retaining existing players
- Interaction with importers, distributors and dealers both locally and internationally
- Building a National Database of SANPA members, venues, clubs and organizers
- National player classification system (per format)
- Affiliating and working nationally and internationally with like-minded associations/federations/clubs/businesses to grow the sport
Values
We would like to identify Integrity, Passion, Solidarity, Discipline, and Respect as the defining character-building characteristics of Paintball/Airsoft as incorporated within the World Paintball/Airsoft Rules. The core values enable participants immediately to understand the character of the Games and what makes it distinctive as a sport which is played by people of all shapes and sizes.
Integrity
Integrity is central to the fabric of the Game and is generated through honesty and fair play.
Passion
Paintball/Airsoft people have a passionate enthusiasm for the Game. Paintball/Airsoft generates excitement, emotional attachment, and a sense of belonging to the global Paintball/Airsoft Family.
Solidarity
Paintball/Airsoft provides a unifying spirit that leads to life-long friendships, camaraderie, teamwork, and loyalty which transcends cultural, geographic, political, and religious differences.
Discipline
Discipline is an integral part of the Game both on and off the field and is reflected through adherence to the Rules, the Regulations, and Paintball/Airsoft’s core values.
Respect
Respect for teammates, opponents, match officials, and those involved in the Game is paramount.
