During the weekend of 15-17 November 2013 Team Dynamix from South Africa competed in the Naza World Cup Asia 2013 event. Around 140 teams from over 40 countries competed in this prestigious event over 4 divisions which was hosted at the Mashuri Hall in Langkawi, Malaysia.
Team Dynamix competed against 13 other teams in Division 1 which is the highest division at the Naza World Cup Asia. After hard thought battles in the prelim games as well as the quarter finals the team made it through to the semi’s and finals. After some intense games the team played their hearts out and won their last point against Team Raskal (Malaysia) to become the 2013 D1 Champions at the Naza World Cup Asia 2013.

1st Team Dynamix (SA)
2nd Team Raskal (Malaysia)
3rd Team Datis (Iran)
4th Team Xtioneers (Malaysia) – D1 Season champions.
Congratulations to team Dynamix for making South Africa proud.
The team also represented South Africa in the ICC (Intercontinental Cup) where they competed against top teams from around the world from various countries. These included teams like San Diego Dynasty – currently ranked the top team in the world according to the PSP, which is currently the largest paintball league in the world. The SA team lost their game against San Diego Dynasty and won their game against the South American All Stars placing them second in their bracket. Only the top team from each bracket went through to the semi’s and finals in the ICC.

3rd San Diego Dynasty (USA)
4th Portland Uprising (USA)
We also had 4 players from the SARPL (South African Regional Paintball League) that played with a Australian team called Insidious in Division 3. This team also did exceptionally well placing 2nd in their respective bracket and 21st overall out of 54 teams competing in Division 3. 2 of our South African players also guessed for team Xtioneers in Division 1 who ended 4th in the event, but was crowned the season champions for Division 1.
Up next is the Paintball Super Cup, which is the national finals for the SARPL that will be held from 5-8 December 2013 at the Forever Resort Gariep where over 50 teams from around South Africa will be competing. International Pro team Houston Heat will also be at the event and Ryan Greenspan from San Diego Dynasty will be doing a pro clinic at the event.
