SANPA national mens representative team 2016

This year will see the SANPA national mens representative team competing in the Mens Paintball World Cup 2016 that will take place from 1-3 July in London, Europe.
During 2013 we send the first ever SA national representative team to compete in the Paintball World Cup at the Millennium Paintball World Cup in Chantilly, Paris where we took a 13th place out of around 24 countries competing. Last year the team cooked up a storm and turned heads internationally with a well deserved 4th place in the Paintball World Cup that took place at the World Cup Asia in Langkawi, Malaysia.  This year will we no different as we go back for the gold.
Try-outs took place during the beginning of the year in various provinces and after the first SANPA Provincial Cup that took place at the Cape Argus Sportshow, as well as looking at overall performance of players we would like to congratulate the following 12 players for being selected as part of the representative national mens team for 2016.

Congratulations to:
George Hunter (Gauteng)
Dane Carfoot (Gauteng)
Yashin Naran (Gauteng)
Thabo Raphiri (Gauteng)

These players are from various club teams in their respective provinces, but have shown the dedication, commitment and skill we are looking for to represent us at the Mens Paintball World Cup.
We will be assisting the team in finding sponsorship as well as fundraising initiatives to help raise funds to all of them to attend this amazing opportunity.
